National Alcohol Screening Day
April 2010
Most of us know that health screenings, such as having your blood pressure and cholesterol checked regularly, are vital to protecting your health. However, we often overlook screenings for alcohol use, which are equally important.
To educate individuals about the risks associated with alcohol use and how to make safer and smarter choices, we will be offering free, confidential and anonymous screenings for alcohol problems, information on the health consequences of “at-risk” drinking, the opportunity to discuss your concerns and, if appropriate, referral to a treatment program.
Screening & information sites
We will publish screening and information sites when we get closer to the event.
